I'll be there if at all possible. Now to find what happened to all my slip bobbers after my trip north........

My kids are busy this evening. Guess I had a launch scheduled on the kitchen calendar I forgot about. Now to contact my rider to see if HE remembers.......:bloos:

Both Andrew (14) and his little brother Ryan (9) caught their first ever fish last night. Although both were just small bluegill, their smiles were keepers. Daniel (18) who caught his first fish with me icefishing last years was also there along with my son Trevor (6).

Special Thanks to Travis (I'llbeoutside) for helping me with the baiting, casting, untangling, fish release, re-baiting etc.

What a hoot!!!

Glad to help out. Maybe we can get a couple of them out in the boat sometime. Only one or two at a time though  .

Headed out tonight approx 6 pm to the lake at 24 Mile and Van Dyke. I'll at least have my 6 & 7 year olds and probably more. Everyone welcome to join me. Mostly Bluegills and bass, but as darkness arrives you can see the cats start moving around.

That sounds great. My boys have been hounding me to get them pout. Would ya mind some company in the 14 and 11 year old range (and of course 40 too.) ?

The more the merrier. The lake is right next to the Shelby City Hall/Police Station. (Dang there goes my secret spot)

I usually park on the street next to the lake, cut through "Heritage Gardens" and fish toward the far side of the lake.

Hope to see you there!!

Well it's raining like the dickens right now and I'm not sure how this will play out, but I'm going to see if we can make it. See ya there hopefully!! I'll be driving a 94 Black Explorer. Names Ted. I'll have 2 boys 14 and 11 with me. The 11 year old can be heard from miles around!!! :tdo12:
