Snapper steals the show
Walleye outing yields a surprise at the end of line

While walleye fishing recently, I found myself tangling with a 15-pounder. “Don’t net it!” warned Rick Geiss as I mentioned we might want to scoop up the deepwater denizen. “Don’t you dare net it.”

My buddy caught one that was about 10 pounds. We were pike fishing, and the thing actually hit the smelt. Kind of interesting, but the turtle actually managed to get the hook out of it's mouth by himself.

If that is a picture of the Snapper that is one clean snapper. Usually you see algea and nasty all over them. You wouldn't have to soak that one very long before eating.
