The temperature has dropped nearly 20 degrees over the last 24 hours.... what should a bass fisherman do to continue to catch fish? I've had great success over the last few weeks with soft plastics and surface baits.... continue with them???

we had our little tuesday night tournament on sanford last night.
took 13 # for first and 11 # for second, i don't think anyone else
got a limit. there were only 8 boats.
i only had two fish. one nailed a hula grub, the other came on a small tube.
i had 7 fish hit the hula grub, and only one sucked it in. the rest grabbed one leg and started swimming off and when I set the hook, they get the leg
and i get nothing. then we started throwing topwater a little, they were
swatting at anything on top pretty good, but not actually eating it.
after 6 hits, we hadn't hooked a fish.
not sure what the other guys figured out, but for me they were way off last
night

Soft plastics deep in the weeds, and worked VERY slowly.

fished the wabasis tournament tonight... we got 2 keepers, both 1.6 lbs, both out of the weeds on soft plastics fished very slowly. Winning bag was a 4 fish bag that only weighed 7.01 lbs. Worst night there yet this season as far as fish weighed in is concerned. We actually took 5th place with our two fish!!

not surprising. it's tough fishing after that big of a cold front. my friend asked me if I wanted to go fishing today, I'm not home but even if I was I think I woulda stayed home. These are tough times to fish.
