Black Lake info needed

I will be spending a week up on Black Lake during the first week of August. Anyone have any information on this lake? I will be taking my 17ft fish & Ski with me, but will only be able to fish in the evenings, as I will be in classes all day. Info on Bass, would be most appreciated, as I will not be keeping any fish, just going out to relax and enjoy.

no replies lee?..lol..hey if its just the bass, i prefer the north end tons of weed, but people do catch a variety in front of the state park at the 10 ft breakline and the 15 ft breakline...but ya gotta love the slop in the north end!...must b nice to a 'bigshot' with the big 3 and they send you(all expenses paid) to these exotic,practically exclusive locations.lol..have fun Buddy

Sorry Bill...some of us don't have all day everyday to get the boat out...Heck, I have only had mine in the water 6 times all year...I am way behind schedule...I'll take any opprotunity I can get lol..

Right off the state park(to the right of the launch) walleyes hang out. Along the drop and out to 30, even 40 ft.

Hey Mike..Lee caught so many walleye on that Canada trip, i Think he's burned out on them..so he just wants the fun of catchin some bass :evilsmile !
