I took my freind and his two sons out last Saturday around 7:30am and we couldn't keep the sunfish off our lines. We ended up with 4 keepers and threw back around 40. I saw a nice pike hanging around a drop we were fishing but couldn't entice it to bite. We also had a huge dogfish checking us out for about 15 minutes. he would come within two feet of the boat looking right at us and come to the surface. I tried to catch him to show the kids how much of a fighter they are. All I could do is get it to nibble on the twister tail of the lure. Good morning of fishing.
