NEW RICHMOND -- Anywhere else, this 11-inch bluegill would be a candidate for a Michigan master angler award. On a warm summer night on the Kalamazoo River, Tony Wolte called it something else: Bait.

Salmon for cut bait..... I am pretty sure thats illegal. I thought that you could not use "game fish" as bait

Heck I use steelhead for bait.

Indeed. It would be awfully hard to use suckers or perch as bait for Pike or Muskie if it were illegal.
