My grandkids (4 and 5) need to get some fishing in soon, and I am hoping the perch are starting in Saginaw Bay, as that would be best. Size doesn't make too much difference to kids, but it would be nice to let them catch dinner too. PM if you don't want info spread on the internet. thanks for the help :)

my dad fishes there often and according to him,if you want to limit on gobies the bay is the place to go.Sorry nothing much else to report...

Talked to the owner of Gambil's this last weekend he stated that guys just are starting to pick up a few around there. He had a few customer's come in with around 30 to 40 each this last week. Last year we started hitting them the week of the 4th. of July. One guy I talked to caught 20 but he was only fishing midday he said this last weekend. I would start out in 12 to 15 FOW for starters.

Work over the long weed bed in front of the White's Beach area for some decent eater size Perch. Small minnows off of slip bobbers. 8' -12' is the ticket ! Good luck. ;)
