Fished july 4th East of the big Island, Marked fish in 20ft of water, all fish were suspended. Only managed a few fish with about as many knockoffs.
I heard alot of chatter on the radio, they seemed to be about another 5miles west on the Island. I run from Port Austin, and would like to know if anyone is catching good numbers, Its about 17miles, to get over there, would like to know if its worth the run. Saw a couple boats at Oak Point, but didnt stop to check it out. Just trying to get idea where to start. Looking for a solid report.
Im not looking for exact location just an Idea, maybe even whats been working. Our fish we did catch, were on Gold pa's and light blue pa's. With all the marks we had, and such little action, we switched to plastic with same results. Ill be out this weekend july 8-10. Boat name GOb1.
