3 of us trolled the 30 can this Monday morning. By the time we left we had caught somewhere around 30 or 40 walleye but only kep 15 and two perch.
Various speeds, lots of twists and turns because of all the traffic but the biggest fish all seemed to come when we changed direction. Firetiger was the ticket early on with polished silver or nickel doing it later when the sun was bright.

Nice job on the fish Bob and Mike....maybe now that the fish flies are tapering off the fish will begin to feed better again!! I will try to make it out to the area Sat.

Sorry about the late report, well went out to the South Channel Monday morning started fishing about 7:00 done at 12:30.Between 4 guy's we caught about 25-30 eyes kept 12.All fish caught on a blue/white/pink with black spots polished chrome blade on the back with white beads. My buddy that took me out said that wasnt the color, well as soon as I put it down bam fish on.Well to make a long story short everyone was changing harnesses. My one buddy did manage to get one nice 2-3 lber 24" the rest we kept were 13-14"Probably could of limited out but the heat was almost unbearable by noon plus it was starting to get a bit choppy so we called it a day.We did not catch too much for scrap fish a few small Silver Bass and a couple of small Perch with one being about 8".All fish seemed to be in 17 F.O.W..

In the channel out by Seaward Island trolling 1.5-2.0 with 1.5 oz bottom bouncers. And we would troll about half way to the st calir light then go back and do it again. Most fish came near the start of our pass although the 24 incher came farther down towards the st.clair light
