Sat. 07-02 came home fishless. 1st time on my boat this summer that I came home without 2 or more 'Eyes in the box, didn't even catch one for that matter. I trolled all around the whole area of the "wreck", and around all sides of the St. Clair Light. Thought I would find some deep water 'eyes in the middle of the lake with the hot June we had, didn't pan out for me. I usually light em up pretty good around the wreck when the water hits the 69-70 mark. Showed 70 degrees on my Lowrance all morning. Nothin. Didn't see anything happening around me either. Anybody get anything going anywhere? Debating where to try on Monday, not sure where to go. I'm open for suggestions.

This morning we landed 2- 10 inch eyes that went back, and a 19 and a 20 inch walleyes that were kept. South of the dumps, near the channel, 18-20 FOW. Orange and yellow harnesses on BB. Fish all came between 730am and 1030 am. Not exactly hot action but a few for the table. A few guys in the dumps ...andy

:fish: My fishing buddy and I caught 15, kept 8 (my total 3) in the north channel by the power plant sat morn. Also try a little bit south of that. The 8 keepers measured out at 13"-13.5".:corkysm55

Where is there a power plant on the north channel? Or did you mean SCR north of Marine city.

Sat. on the canadian side 19- 17.5 feet of water I got a limit of walleye. we ran out of worms. Good size too. only one small one. Also 3 nice bass and one musky and one pike. They were still hitting at 1:30 in the afternoon. Leaving to head out there right now and I will let you know if the same is true.

I was out yesterday by the 28 can, we caught a ton of fish but only kept 7. Next year we should have a good number of legal legnth fish. We also had a very large musky on. Will be out again tommorow, hoping for less silverbass as well as less traffic. Some people have no respect for fishermen, had a 40 Tiara (Northern Star) nearly swamp us out there yesterday when he came within 10 yards of us . No respect! Good luck to all, see some of you guy's tommorow.

Next time get the MC's and report it. what she did was illegal, assuming it was a female captian since no man man would show such disrespect to a fellow angler  ...andy

Fished the Middle Channel at the Clinton River Boat Club on Monday morning. Lots of small fish. Caught 36 walleye before we had our 12 fish limit. The 12 fish were 13 to 14.5 inches long. All caught on jig with crawler (stinger hooks too). We fished from 6:30am to 8:15am, from 24 to 30 FOW. All the fish I cleaned were full of wigglers - not fish in the bunch.
