Fished LSC last Saturday afternoon thru this past Tuesday. Covered water from Metro beach down to the 9 mile tower. Not sure what happen but we never did get on the bass. Talk to others and they weren't doing well either. Sure was a bunch of mayflies on the water. My best fish ended being a 4 pound largemouth caught out in the lake in 10 feet of water. Best smallmouth we had was about 2-1/2 pounds. Weather sure was HOT!.
I talked to 2 different bass guides that were running out of Blossom Heath in St. Clair Shores and they both said they don't waste their time in the US side right now. They we're both fishing on the south shore near the Thames.
All in all it was a fun trip and I'll probably return soon.
I did do something dumb though. It was about 5:40am when I pulled into metro Beach. I saw all the cars going thru the far left lane at the toll booth because the other lanes were closed off. So heck I followed as well..... I didn't get 100 yards before some blue flashers were behind me. I didn't know the ramp didn't open until 6:00 am. He was nice though and had me turn around and wait until it opened.
