lake conditions near the mile rds

anybody close to the lake? i was wondering what the conditions are out there today. my dad has one last chance to go after a big musky before he heads home up north. i would like to get him out there one last time.....but it looks like we might get blown out!:bash:

I was out earlier today and it was pretty bumpy for a 19 footer. Left from the 10 Mile area out to the channel and it took me forever to get back. According to the Weather channel it is going to get windier as the day progresses.

thats not what i wanted to hear:sad: i checked the buoy status and its reading 2' waves. i would have thought it would be greater then that.

I just came back from selfridge going out ok coming back probably 3 footers, I have a 17ft. boston whaler it ran just fine but had to go slow.

yikes!!:yikes: we made it out yesterday, but as my dad said "it wasn't the smartest thing we ever did". there is nothing like trying to rig planners boards while your rolling in 4 footers. we did get A fish for all the work we did, a nice 45" fatty. it was a real wet ride back in thou :sad:
