Have'nt had a rod in my hands in about 3 weeks, heard the riva was still holding walleyes. Went vertical jiggin this morn and like lickity split fish on first drop to the bottom. went 14 for 6 13inch keepers. Using 3/4 lead heads and berkly power minnows sweet bait. Now were packing up the camper and heading down to Erie to fish a couple days with tubejig and his little darlin. Have a good 4th you'll and be safe.

MSU, I havent left yet but will be leaving Mon morning for 5 days on Erie (Sterling). I will let the wife know you said hi. Hopefully the bite will be like it has been the last few years after the 4th. Ed's a rook on Erie so he should have a good time and he will need a big sheepie to get him broke in right.
Slick, what ya gonna name that new boat??? I vote for "dry dock Brent" LOL!!!!! Think about the Erie trip for next year.
Ed, nice job on the fish and I will see ya in a couple days. Sheeps for you my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in for sure next year Tubejig, make sure you remind me so I dont forget.. Ken let Ed have all the silver bass and Sheephead LOL since he never fished it before..
Ken the boat name will stay the same but this time I may have it put on my boat for a change, even tho I did like the idea of dry dock but I will stay with Slick fishing thank you LOL..
Well went out again today and I think a blind man could get 30 to 40 walleye a trip these days, dont get me wrong I am not complainig one bit, the action is awesome I just wish they would get a little bigger, even tho there will be good fishing for the next couple of years.. I just hope that all these fisherman dont try and keep to many small ones just because there easy to catch..
Have a good time guys, I will be out again tomorrow weeding thru the small ones for some decent size walleye.. Cya Slick

1fife, that Goby hotntot and shad rap we talked about are going to be real killers. They are different than the winning streaks all the way around, infact probably 10 times better. I will toss a picture up for everyone to see when I get back next week.
