I am looking for information on the habits and migration of Walleyes. I just started fishing this year and don't know too much about them. I have been doing extremely well hand lining for them in the St. Clair river. Lately I have been catching smaller ones. I think that the more I know about them, the more chances I have of catching decent sized ones. I have done internet searches without much success. When I type in Walleye Information in Google, I get 719,000 matches. If someone could direct me to a particular website or book, that would be great. I don't have a lot of time to fish, so I want to make the most out of what I have. Don't we all.
Thanks,
Dennis

Sounds like you are doing the right thing, you are just catching small fish like everyone this year all the way from Lake Erie to Lake Huron. The Walleyes seem to be running on the smaller side this year.Sure will be good in a year or two.Be Patient!!!!!!!!!!!

First, I would like to send out a thank you to fish eater and spendit.
Secondly, River Rat should I tell everybody the story that begins with "Once upon a time, in a Port Huron ER, there was my buddy Gary lying in a hospital bed holding his finger and a Pencil Plug....................... Remind me not to use that color, it only catches Suckers. I think it was a Flaming Pink Clown. :yikes:
Seriously Gary aka (River Rat) is one of the most unselfish, helpful, people I know. If it weren't for Gary, I would probably not have a fishing addiction, or a garage that smells like fish. He is a fine example of a true sportsman.
If anyone wants to hear about the ER story PM me.
