Fished Cadiltrax last night. 36 boats showed up and it was a rat race to get to the channel 1st. We fished Mitchell for about an hour. Was pounding docks and toons trying to get a hog but wasn't getting anything. Went back to our smallie spot on Cadilac and still nothing. Stuck it out on the smallie spot and 1/2 hour before 9pm, caught 5 fish in 15 min. that all weighed. Ended up weighing my fish(finally) It was a smallie that went 2.27 on the scales. Not a monster but good weight and was 5th overall. This lake can be tough in the summer and a lot of guys came in w/ a light bag or nothing at all. Should be back in 1st place w/ a desent lead again. Big bass was 3.63 and the critter pot went to the guy that caught that 8 lb dogfish. Would have liked to hook into that one!
