Hey guys I want to get down to the lake with my bro in from Colorado this next month. Are there productive spots for musky/pike casting? I mainly fish the SCR which is lousy with walleyes right now but he loves to cast, catch and release. Big bass are always a blast as well. If anyone can point us in the right direction please do. We have launched out of Crocker and fished out from the blue painted seawall for bass in the past. We have also ran down the Middle channel and caught some perch and a few bass. Have also done the North up and down the edges where she flushes into lake. Please PM if you have any spots you can let me in on as "mums will be the word".

Thanks guys gilly

PS- Thought about blowing some coin on a few very large shad raps for the musky casting. Good choice?

I'm not much help with locations, but I know that Super Shad Raps are a great choice for Musky. Esox has a ton of them and uses them quite a bit.

Good luck !

Weather I am casting or trolling, there is always a Super shad rigged on a rod.
Muskie casting spots......."A" and "B" bouy areas, Grassy Island area, any of the steep drops in the channels.

Thanks for the spots to try and the nod on the super shads. Is there one or two particular colors to have- firetiger & black/gold?
