This doesn't really belong here, but I'm going to post it anyway. If you guys think the size of the walleye we're catching are small you should see the size on the chinook salmon on Lake Michigan. I fished out of Manistee this weekend and took some kings that were 6-8 inches long. Caught one on a magnum spoon that was just as big as the yearling. Good fishing up there, but a lot of small fish. I guess like the walleye fishing the salmon will be great too in the next few years.

my only problem is these 12" dinks we're getting in LSC are hitting like they are 16"-18". I'm tired of grabbing my net for a throwback. :bash:

it's the biggest bummer reeling in an eye and seeing it surface 30ft from the boat. you instantly know that its going back !

Better to throw them back :fish: , than to not catch them at all :sad: .

You got that right Bripoe!! Some of them are fighting like smallmouths.....not used to that! :lol:
