big blue lake, muskegon area

going with family to big blue lake in couple weeks with family to camp and go to water park near Muskegon. Never been there, or heard of it until found on county park search. Can anyone tell me if this is a good place to camp and catch any fish. If so what species are in the lake. Can't find it on DNR site. Will have 14' boat and maybe canoe. Thanks for info. The west side of the Lake is good for Bass and Blue gills.
I was told that there is no size minimum for Pike on that lake. I would check the DNR fishing guide first though.
