I think Michigan Bowhunters is having their rendezvous in Marion that same weekend. You could do two shoots.

Yeah, but the rendevous is primarily for trad gear. They scheduled the 3d shoot to coincide with the rendevous for that reason...there will be lot of bowhunters in the area and it's just don't the road about a mile and a half from the rendevous. It's all good.

I heard the first 3D target is about a 90 yrd shot....um, you don't need a score keeper do you??

Last year it was 79ish...it's a downhill shot at an elk so you don't have to worry about losing an arrow on the shot. It's also a bonus shot. After the first elk there are 30 targets using standard IBO scoring rings minus the 11's, so the highest score you can achieve is 310 with the bonus target. It was one of the funnest shoots I've ever been a part of with some of the greatest people you'll ever meet.
