This is a 24 volt trolling motor with 65lbs of thrust and a 60\" shaft. Also has variable speed and auto pilot. Comes with everything needed to go except batteries. I had this on my 19\'6\" Starcraft and it moved it very well. Auto pilot was awsome to have. I bought the trolling motor 4 years ago with my boat and have used it maybe 10 times. Has been stored indoors when not in use. - See More Here: http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=1577

Chad,
I bought the boat new and had the trolling motor added on it. And yes it is only 4 years old. The reason I am getting rid of it is because I just dont use it very often. I bought my boat with the intention's of fishing inland waters with it but then I got into salmon fishing on the Great Lakes and I dont need it out there.
One thing that I forgot to mention is that the last time I used it (last Memorial weekend) the foot pedal was a little temper mental. I think it was just because it does not get used much because as the day went on it did get better.

lol ok define temper mental... not responding, slowly responding..doing eradicate things when your not even pushin the pedal?

When I first put it on the boat the day before I went fishing it would hardly respond but after "playing" with it for about a half hour it did get better. The next day out fishing it responded a little slowly but as the day progressed it got much better. Still was not 100% but I was only using on and off for about 4 hours. I will play around with it tommorrow and see if I can get it working 100%.

Chad,
I hooked the trolling motor up to my boat today and still had the same results so I tore down the foot pedel and it was just as I suspected. The contacts on the circuit board for the pedel had a little corrosion on them so I cleaned them up and it is now just like brand new. All controls work great and are very responsive. I took a few more pics of it today on the boat and a pic of the plug for the power cord so you know what style plug it takes. I can email them to you if you would like. Just let me know.;)

I use the same motor on my 18 foot Princecraft. Love it but I also have the same problem with the footpedal. I think you guys just solved my problem!
I troll for walleye on Lake St. Clair almost every weekend. That motor maneuvers great and the auto pilot is fantastic until you get hit by rough water. Then it gets confused and tries to push the boat back IMMEDIATELY from where the wave pushed it. I (we) use the foot pedal as a hand held. It's actually easier to control the boat by hand than by foot if you're just trolling.

bought the "co-pilot" when i bought the autopilot and only used the foot pedal once or twice. the wrist controller is right there, nothing to maintain, and you have nothing to clutter up the floor of the boat. really like it for the price.
