Lake Erie Diver Reports

For those of you who Layout/Diver Hunt on Lake Erie. Here is the latest........

Just got off the phone with my best bud. He had been layout shooting Lake Erie near the Detroit River Light (Livingstone Channel.) Despite the strong West/Northwest winds and rough lake conditions his group had managed to take 12 ducks consisting of a mixed bag of Redheads and Bluebills.

Before everyone gets excited, there are NO Canvasbacks down yet!!!! And besides we can't shoot them until the middle of November anyways. Unless we get some Strong North Winds and some Cold Temps the real action should pick up in a week or two. (Hopefully!!!)

I'am In,restrung about 5 Dozen dekes and am chomping at the bit to get out, especialy after a fruitless deer hunt, Think all that rain put the deer in another field w/thicker cover, My friend hunted Harsens and although the north wind blew the water level down they managed to limit on greenheads and teal and even a pintail,hitting the divers this weekend
