went out today, boat ran great , coming in I realized my partner had hit the down switch by accident on the tilt it was already down so it just kept power to the motor for who knows how long. Get to the launch and the battery is dead so i drive home carfully without transom saver on.
When battery is fully charged i try the tilt it works going up great , but won't go down, i did the release valve and it went down, then i tried up again no problem but won't go down.
I checked the power to both selinoids both have power , motor runs but no down motion Any ideas, I checked the fluid level and when i diid the gasket on the screw broke and all the fluid leaked out so tommorrow will replace little gasket and refill with tilt and trim fluid, both the ram arms are out and won't retract ,any other thoughts?thanks jerry
