Yes I would try an evening hunt.It has ben my experience the carp will move into the shallow at night. It may not be as good as the morning, but still worth a try.If you have a boat wait untill dark, use a light and try then.Bowfishing at night can be alot of fun!Good luck...Duckman

I have a place on Wildfowl Bay. South side of Sand Point. I have noticed a lot of carp spawning action early in the morning. Last week I had about 30 swimming right up to shore with their backs exposed. I think the jet ski, boat activity during the day tends to keep them in deeper water during the later hours. We watched a Bald Eagle try to lift several Carp out of the water. They were to heavy for him and he finally gave up. Good luck
