First Carp with bow.(pics)

Got my first carp this afternoon with a bow. I was just standing there on the pontoon(teid to the dock) and all of a sudden this huge carp was just cruzin down the canal. It was about 4-8 inches below the surface and i nailed it and it ran up the canal like 30 feet then i hauled it in and it took off again. There was blood all over the dock. It was awesome im hooked.

That carp is about avg. size for the lake i was on.

I already found out its addicticng. Today i headed out about 1ish and it was really overcast but i figured i would get it a try anyways. all of a sudden my trolling motor wasnt moving me. I look down its barly spinning(just took the battery off the charger) pulled it up an the nut was gone. i looked and looked couldnt find one. went bass fishin instead and caught a nice 21 incher and a bunch of little bass. My cuz caught a bluegill of a pop-r(topwater):) .

So i looked at the weather and its suppose 2 be sunny tomm. im going to get up at sunrise and go out bowfishing.
