After fighting w/ Lund for the first year after we purchased our boat they finally sent me a cover that would fit our boat properly late last year. The boat is stored in a pole barn all winter and I have never had any problems w/ mice or other critters. Since breaking the boat out this spring I have been keeping it in the garage, which means the wifes car is out now  . We have a ton of trees at our new house and I told her I would start covering it and leaving it in the driveway as soon as the buds/helicopters stop falling. Well, after being gone for a week, I returned home and went to get the canvas cover out of the back of my truck, which has a cap on it, and found about a dozen holes chewed in it  . This was the only thing in the back of my truck and the holes are extremely small they would have to come through. We have a lot of woods around us and I can't understand why they would want in there. Don't think I will be leaving the boat outside covered or not!! Needless to say, I need a good canvas repair place in the Anchor Bay area. I am now on a seek and destroy mouse mission. I am sure it is a lost cause, they probally hang in the woods all day and party in the back of my truck at night :bash: . Thanks for any help. Sorry so long, just venting.

Update..I think it may have been ground squirrels, not mice.
