1967 evenrude lark, Whats it worth?

1967 evenrude lark 40hp selectric shift w/controls. Motor runs perfect. My boss was going to put it to the curb because he bought a new one. couldn't see it going to waste, one more thing to fill up my garage. Just wondering if anyone has an opinion. Any input appreciated.

I've got a '61 Evinrude Lark III 40 hp that runs great. It's a great little motor.
It's on the 16' boat that I've got for sale right now. I'm only getting rid of it because I don't need THREE boats. I've used it for about three years and it's been great but I just bought a newer bass boat with a 90 hp Merc on it so I need to make room.

IMO, a motor like that if it's in good running condition is probably worth at least $500. There are a lot of people out there that may have a boat with no motor and don't want to spend 2-3 thousand dollars for one. This would be fine for that purpose and a lot more affordable.
