I have read several comments on this subject. Some say it's legal now to carry while bow hunting with a ccw license, some say it's not. I have found something on the Michigan State Legislature page that I am sure you all will find useful. The URL is as follows: http://www.legislature.mi.gov/documents/2003-2004/billanalysis/senate/pdf/2003-SFA-0221-E.pdf

It is an analysis of the new rules regarding the power that the DNR has over legitimate CCW holders in this state. As you will see, it clearly states that the DNR CAN NOT stop you from carrying your conceiled postol while bow hunting, as long as there is no attempt to take game with it. REMEMBER, you are carrying it for personal protection, not hunting. I intend to carry while bow hunting and I will have a copy of this analysis on me when I do so that if challanged by a DNR officer that is not "UP ON THE LAW" I can show it to him and hopefully avoid any problems.
