Has anyone out there built there own livewell? I have really wanted one for some time, but never wanted to drop the money to buy one. My boat is almost 40 years old and I am planning on buying a new boat next spring. So I would like to get away with spending the least amount possible. Anyone ever put together one of those kits together from like Cabelas or Bass Pro?
Thanks in advance,
Dan
If you want to save money use a cooler and airator.

I have this live well that I planned to install on my old boat and never got around to it before I sold it. I would be happy to let it go for a reasonable price. It you want water supply that recirculates you can get a simple system for about $25 with the pump and all the plumbing.

What is the size of this well. I am looking for one that will hold big fish.

I dont have the exact measurements right here. The well is a good 45" X 15" X 15"
It is bigger than most any standard well in new produced boats.
