I'm on the
Benzie county dive team, and we routinely dive the piers in
Frankfort and Elberta, and recover LOTS of cannonballs, spoons, tackleboxes and sometimes downriggers. We have a 20 gallon bin full right now that we will be selling with proceeds going to our team. (We are all volunteers). We were just informed of a spot in about 80' of water that seems to hang everyone up and supposedly the is a TON of gear there. When we dive this spot, I will let everyone know what we have and will likely sell most all of it so we can get tanks filled, etc.
If anyone is interested in the stuff we have right now, let me know and I will try to inventory it. If not, it will get sold to the Tackle Box in Frankfort. Mr. Murphy said he may want all of the cannonballs, but probobly not much else. I just want to give you guys first crack at it.
