I discovered that my 2 year old Cannon 10A body is cracked. Does anyone know if the still warranty them for life. I know they used to, just not sure if they still do. If so, should I tear it down or do they?
Thanks in advance for the info.

I had MULTIPLE breaking/cracking problems with my cannon uni-trolls and allthough it was a pain in the **** having them break all the time, cannon did always fix them no questions asked. I would have to tear down what I could and send it in though. Needless to say I do not use cannons anymore.

I hit a dock broke one of my digitrols right (in to 20 f.o.w.) off plus broke the low profile swivel mount. Took them to Muskegon they repalce both the body and the swivel parts no problem and at no cost. Thats why I still run Cannons.

Thanks for the responses. We got into a pretty nasty rigger/ball tangle yesterday(draggin bottom for a while), but I think the dock may have added to the problem. I hope Cannon's turnaround is good, it's not practical for me to drive to Muskegon(eastsider).

I doubt that they are members, but I would like to thank the people at the Cannon Service Center!! They probably got my rigger on last Friday and I have it back today. Excellent service!!

Kind of late now, but ACO Sportsman on 23 mile road in New Baltimore used to be and still may be a warranty center. They replaced the body on one of mine several years back for free under warranty.

Thanks coverdog, I'll keep that in mind next time. I shipped to Muskegon. Amazing turnaround for the price of shipping. ACO is a class act as well, my in-laws live in the sub behind it and I stop in when I can.

I do not believe ACO is a Cannon Service Center anymore. Last time I called about a rigger part, I got alot of additude from them about asking for rigger parts,,
Cannon did replace my cracked parts for me.

Cannon's website has a service center in Muskegon. I broke a body hitting a dock last yr and they had it back to me in 4 days. As for ACO, I’ll never buy anything from them guys again. They are the rudest tackle shop around. The feeling is pretty much the same with most fellow fisherman I know.

I just drove by there today and noticed the sign in the window doesn't say ACO anymore. I can't recall the name now. I have not been there for a few years but they seemed decent and handled my warranty great. New owners maybe?
