Saginaw River Hot Day

Fished the river for 3 hrs this morning between 9 and noon. Only fished till noon could not stand the heat anymore. Caught 6 smallies and 1 sheephead nothing really of any size, a few just around 14 inches. Caught 1 walleye just over 15, all fish was caught casting shallow cranks. Saw an eye floating dead on the top that was real nice about 30 inches long, did not look to have been dead too long it still had gold color to it. Felt sorry for the guys fishing the tourney today that had to stick it out in the heat. Right Lobsterman AKA (Chamook)

So that's why mother nature sucker punched us today. She not only heard Bob was going to be on the water, but that he was also fishing in a tourney. The double whammy. :rant: :p

Dummy Me - shorts and no shoes, DUH :rant: ! Bad thing is that I had some of that SPF 40 stuff in the glovebox of the boat, but didn't want to get it on My hands during the tourny :bash: .
