Fished from 6:00 AM to around 1:00 PM mostly in 15 FOW in front of Sterling State Park. Ended up with 4 walleye in the box: 15", 18", 22" and a 27". Water was a little rough for my boat so we stayed in close and never got out past 15 or 16 fow. Lots of small ones thrown back.
We started out dragging bb with crawlers but ran out of worms. Switched to rattletots off the in-line boards and then long-lining a three-way rig that had a deep diving rapala and a small stinger spoon down the middle. The small walleye were eating up the spoon, couldn't keep that line in the water. Big fish and the 15" hit the firetiger rapala off the three-way 80 ft back. Other 2 walleye hit a greenish-yellow rattletot of the in-line, 55 ft back. Boats seemed to be scattered everywhere.
