I am considering purchasing the Lund Fisherman 1700. Does anyone own this boat? I was just wondering what you think about it and if you like it.

Thanks
Tom

Tom,

I have a 1700 Pro Sport and love it. The Fisherman has a very similar layout, but a wider beam which will help fishability in the rear of the boat. The Fisherman also has a fair amount more storage. Bottom line is that I have zero complaints about my boat, and I think the Fisherman has some nice advantages over the Pro Sport. You won't be disappointed with a Lund.

I have the 18 ft. Lund Alaskan side console, in camo.
Mostly I am a waterfowler up here on Skegemog lake, but this boat does it all.
It is the most rugged, nimble, dependable piece of Aluminum I have ever owned.
I ordered it with the aerator, vinyl floor, and detachable windshield (which I never use). I added a Garmin fish finder later.
I fish out of this boat comfortably, and duck hunt with it in the fall right up to "ice in" on the lake.
...The only boat I would rather have than this one would be the twenty footer set up the same way.
